Father José Luis Guzón, was born in Palencia, Spain in 1962 and has been a Salesian since 1981. He holds a Doctorate degree in Philosophy, the Education Sciences and in Theology. For almost twenty years he has been in charge of the formation of young Salesian priests from various provinces in Spain. He teaches the History of Modern Philosophy and the History of Science and collaborates on pastoral issues with some of the parishes of the dioceses of Burgos, where he resides. He has been coming to Incarnation Church since 1992, even though he has not been able to visit consecutively over the years. He recalls that this will be his twenty second summer at Incarnation.
Testimony:
The Incarnation has been for me a proving ground for pastoral issues that has enriched my life as a priest. I have found myself very much welcomed and have learned much from the cultural mosaic and life that is Incarnation. I appreciate from the bottom of my heart how all the priests, ministers, and staff have treated me. I am very grateful in particular to Bishop Gerald T. Walsh who first brought me here and to Msgr. Gabriel La Paz, with whom I have shared the last few years I have been here.
Prayer:
Lord, you know our needs, grant success to the work of our hands. That our Church of the Incarnation, a Samaritan church, may live a new Pentecost during this Centennial Year and that your Spirit may renew our strength so that your will and not ours, may be realized in the world.

A thousand thanks to all, and to your pastor, Monsignor Gabriel La Paz, to my brother priests, to the parish groups, and to all the parish staff, thank you very much.
Prayer:
My best wishes to this great community of faith and prayer. I elevate my prayer to the Heavenly Father, that this parochial community may continue its dynamic pastoral life and that its work of evangelization may be a sign of the presence of the Kingdom.

Father Osiris Salcedo, SDB
I was born in the Dominican Republic, specifically in the city of Moca, located at
northern most part of the island. My mother, who passed away, Ana Mercedes
Camacho, and my father, Ramon Salcedo, who is still alive, taught me about
Christianism, the values and principles to keep on the correct way in the life. I
went every Sunday to church, when I was a child. At the age of nine I began
serving as a altar server in The Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in my native city,
Moca, until I entered the seminary.
I entered the Salesian Seminary in 1982 and was ordained as a priest in 1997.
I studied philosophy in the Major Seminary of Saint Thomas Aquinas, in Santo
Domingo, D.R., and I attended the Pedro Henriquez Urena University, as well. I
also studied Theology in Tlaquepaque, Guadalajara, Mexico.
I served as a Salesian Priest in Santiago two years (IPISA: a Technical High School
with five technical careers): I was Coordinator of Pastoral Issues; later in La Vega
around three years (IAS: Tecnical High School, specialized in Agronomy): I was
Principal of the School.
Due to chronic kidney disease, I had to come to the United States to receive a
kidney transplant from my brother (Faustino Salcedo). While I was expecting the
kidney transplant, I went for dialysis at the Presbyterian Hospital during a year
and five months. Finally, I received successfully the transplant in July 2003.
At that time I served at Incarnation Church for two years.
I express my gratitude to Msgr. Gabriel La Paz and the other priests at
Incarnation, Fr. Guerra, Fr. Antonio, Fr. Felino, and Fr. Evaristus. After having
served at Incarnation, I moved to Saint Elizabeth Church in January 2004. I
thank to Bishop Gerald Walsh for his support giving me an opportunity to serve at
this church. Currently, I am Parochial Vicar at Saint Elizabeth. I hope to
continue the proclamation of the Kingdom of God, preaching the Gospel and
supporting, guiding and giving orientation to the people of God, helping them to
work in their salvation, remembering that we are called to save souls for the Lord.
My slogans as a priest, I took from 1 Corintians 9: 16 and John 10:10. I am trying
to fulfil this in my priesthood, with the support of the faithful, especially from
their prayers. Because we are called to fulfil a mission on the earth: save and
rescue souls for the Lord, to follow Jesus in our lives, practice compassion, love,
charity, and justice.
I am very happy to be a priest in the service of the Lord, and I ask for your prayers
for all priests. I commend my life to Christ, our Lord, and I want to serve Him
with courage and decision until the death.
Prayer: I wish to express my gratitude to the Church of the Incarnation.
May GOD BLESS her priests and her parishioners. May He permit her to be
rescued and cherished so that she may continue her mission for Christ with the
help of Mary.
Best Wishes to Incarnation . . .from the priests and religious community.
